Did BWC stage 10. Not a good type of stage for me. A lot of dead stops. At least for non-light weights. Demoralizing too see others sprint by on virtual speeds uphill on 10%+ inclines. Small consolation to make up some few seconds on the way down. Those downhills virtual speeds are rather silly, aren’t they? Well, I won’t be doing that stage again, but now it is over and done with. @keithaitch I expect you to claw back a minute or so on this one. A very silly early 10%+ incline very early on - be prepared! Save a bit for the latter part of the climb as I think you can make up time there if you power on, and the downhill is steep so putting a lot of power there is rather wasted. Save something for the last 4kms as there are three uphills that are short but where I think it is possible to gain time (on me). I think I lost a bit of heart and inspiration there...just wanting to finish. So I think you could steel 30sec there if you leave some fuel for that.

Thx for the info, I'll do it on Monday and challenge you. I can't think of a better way to start my week than sending you an eos! You are still way ahead of me. My objective at the moment is to get ahead of fake per.

Got a dead stop where there shouldn't be one, not that I could have kept up anyway. Might have managed to draft the ghosts otherwise as they didn't finish that far ahead.

Sorry lads, not ready to race just yet. Did a very steady 75% NC500 at lunchtime.. happy with it but my HR was very very high... obviously still a little tired after the recent virus...

I’ll be back V soon - I’m hoping to catch the big man on his way down...
