And not just drafting but also as soon as the slope goes above - 1.2 I ease off and the numbers turn blue and I coast with low watts while speed remains high. It kills the average but the little breaks are needed.

I honestly spent more time in front. I tend to put huge effort (for me) into small climbs. 3% etc... then once over the top I back off, spin, recover. On stage 2 I allowed your ghost to catch me, rode with you, then did the same on the next ramp... and so on.... I can be spinning as little as 100 BKW... and going over ramps at 450BKW.

steady descent and recover but keep the momentum up on the knolls
then the race for home
well pleased and no dodgy ticker
hearing test tomorrow
havent worn my hearing aides for 10 years and now i need em

Bravo old un... spookily enough I’m in for eyes n ears test on Monday morning... I know both are buggered but how much, not sure.. I ain’t shelling out £2k for hearing aids... I’ll use the family heirloom.. great great great great amazingly great grandmas ear trumpet .... wot

I'm guessing like a lot of us you're both paying for the earlier loud concerts and noise without any thought of ear protection. Or I think that's what I heard.. I can't be sure it sounded a little muffled. Also for sure I have either consciencly or not blocked the wife's voice. At least once a week she accuses me of ignoring her when I really didn't hear her.
