Monday is tricky for me, unless we go about 8pm. Kids have football practise. But I will come up with a date and get Mrs to take them.
Should make for a manic finish!

The rest of us would need to set off considerably earlier ....

View attachment 80729 Well I started up the trainer to see if it would update as is hasn't since I had it as far as I know, it was stated in here that the later Classic's update via USB+Ant like the Pro but wasn't sure.
So I powered up and nothing....nothing to say there was an update or that it had updated anything, this is the screen shot of what I have, I tried manual pair as well and got the same info.

I have the BKool Pro and no updates here either. Still on v. 3.2

Incidentally, I think one evening we should do a handicap race up Huez. The slowest set off first, and then based on your fastest time, you set off the difference in minutes behind the first guy. Theoretically you all reach the top at the same sort of time, but makes for a hell of a sprint finish. Gives the slower guys a shot at glory.
I am happy to work out what time everyone can start. And the last guy.... Elite Adam or Bill, just keeps an eye out for eager starters. I'm happy to organise it if everyone likes the idea?

Ha! I've just set off as I need the biggest head start. See you at the top!! :hello:

Darn it, I hope he at least feels as beat as I did when I got to the top! Haven't looked at his run yet, at work, and phone is painfully slow! Will analyse and scrutinise his attempt later, see if I can find substantial grounds for a time penalty.

Well done Darryn!

Yes that was me done for a few hours after that! I also lost my hearing slightly for a few hours after, wierd LOL

Hello all, I'd like to join in in some evening leagues, am I in the right place for some friendly turbo pain?

Ditto.
Bkool replied to my email saying I needed to have the ant+ closer and have the Bluetooth switched off. No help to me at all. I don't think my laptop has Bluetooth or I've never seen any sign of it anyway.

Hello Guy. You certainly are. We have The Mountain Goats and we have The Thursday night CC. Request to join and hang out here and we can promise you some friendly pain:smile:

Yeah. I couldn't get the ant+ closer to the trainer, tried it touching, an inch away. Might wrap it in tin foil next :-)

Well Bill, looks like your Huez time will stand for another few days at least. Just tried a spin now, but my calf is still aching. Reluctant to push it, for fear of aggrevating it further, AND missing out on my Thursday Night League run. But I have that challenge locked firmly in the crosshairs. I will use the time I now have available to read all the small print and challenge conditions.
But I think you are quite safe. If you gave it your all, I would need to give it all of mine, and borrow some from Darryn.

If we're doing a d'uez handicap race ill have to redo it as the only time I've tried it I had the bkool on trial. the elite will make it easier so need a new benchmark!

Yes, good call. Well this will level the playing field for you too. So yes, try and get a Huez run in, when you can.

But no sauntering up there, taking in the views, and stopping for sandwiches, just to get a good headstart young man!

This weekend I will start appealing for interested parties, and ask for your Huez best times(which I will check)!

Which actually, is another bloody good reason not to break my neck up there trying to beat you just yet Bill.
