Posted a feeble time on SC3 this afternoon. Didn't feel strong and no one to draft  Not sure how bad the time is, but I guess I'll find out this week when everyone else starts hitting the ride.

Edit : someone who was 6 minutes down on me on SC2 beat me by 3 minutes on SC3 .... so yeah, probably a very feeble time! May have to have another go at that when I get back off my hols :sun:

Interesting that Froomy's problem went from be a puncture, to a 'mechanical problem' to a broken spoke.
What actually happened was his magnetic inductance motor in his rear wheel failed.
Armed with Kwiatkowski's fully functioning back wheel he was able to get back to the favourites group however he couldn't attack them now because that would look to obvious.
Have you noticed how effortlessly Landa climbs, he's got a motor in both wheels, kind of 4 wheel drive for bicycles.
Marginal gains!
It was also interesting to hear the commentators slag Sky of for being tactically dumb today when AG2R attacked to them being a solid unit by getting Froome back on.

I'd like to see Landa' s wattage outputs... probably bkool Pep like! Wednesday and Thursday look to be the crunch days of the tour, with so little in it between the top 7 riders...

I bet even Landa could not go uphill, of any sort, at 78 kph doing less than 400 watts.

49 minutes is a great time for that route. It is killer. .I felt like it gave me very low watts for my effort. Like riding through mud. Also had my chain come off with less than a mile to go.
