Also worth saying I've been concentrating on sprinting, high tempo, flatter courses recently to get high cadence in the legs. Not done a climb or long slow ride for ages but maybe i'm finding that shorter 'sprint' courses are more my thing? Certainly nice to be mixing it, to a lesser extend, with the big boys. Even 6 months ago I never considered this would ever be the case. It's thanks to the help, advice and support on here that I've been able to learn what I can do and be able to improve. Thank you my online friends :okay:

I don't want to sound like I'm wishing summer away but I'm really looking forward to battling it out this winter. Perhaps the death of bkool has been exaggerated!

Yeah, and perhaps bkool can sort out their software so the rest of us could join in without the disadvantages that make it such a miserable frustrating experience. What are the odds?

If i done a video of a ride , put it in virb with the gpx - how could it be ridden on the tacx neo ? what software would you use to watch/ride it ?
would it be bkool or another ?
busy saving my pennies now ready for winter
bkool has expired and i think zwift is about to - got to see what you are all gonna do before i pick !
the neo does look like it is more realistic and if its as quiet as you say then i may be allowed in the house rather than the shed
also if i can do rides/videos of local stuff realistically that would be another plus

Well I've just broken my legs for a couple of days. Tried CG2 and was doing fairly well, I was aiming for a 1hr 06. About an hour in it went sideways. Power dropped of from a 210-215 avg to 180'ish. Ended up with a 1hr 12 .

I then went on to post a SC2 time.. Not up to the usual cyclechat standard, 50.48. But it's there so a top 100 beckons

Bigring VR allows you to run your video and gpx track to control the trainer. I'm not sure how to do it but I've sern posts on how to do it.

You can get away with a crafty post ride beer in the shed without HID's finding out though... and in the winter it will be nicely chilled!
