Out the door earlier with fewer obstacles this morning; although still had to wait for the car to defrost, sit in traffic of no descernible origin and walk the bike past the 300yds of the tow path that remain carpeted with thorns despite my protestations to the relevant authorities..
An absolutely beautiful morning - clear and bright with a good dose of low-lying mist. Could have spent all morning taking photos but reined myself in as time was tight. Lots of school traffic on the tow path - a pain in practical terms but of course it's great to see people taking this route rather than jamming the roads up with their vile Chelsea tractors en-route to parking them on somebody else's kids face outside the school..
The morning was only spoilt by the fact I forgot the reduced all day breakfast sarnie I'd bought for the homeless bloke under the bridge - I hope he doesn't take offense at it being two days out of date tomorrow...
Again, sausages but shorter route, arriving at work just on time
