Jeez, first pic looks especially tricky to get past. Wouldn't fancy lifting my loaded bike over that. Could you get under them? Seriously muddy on the sides if you go off the paved bit too.

I have finished work for the year now so happy to miss out on this. There was a tree down from the last storm that was still not cleared last week further north of the loop but still on the old railway line.

Put a report in to the council. I gather the council are more onto it with the Roe Green loop proper due to higher footfall.

Luckily they were reasonably easy to get through and the council are pretty good at clearing the trees. Might grab my saw from work again just in case

Not quite as bad as expected - the rain stopped about 5 minutes before I set off and the wind hasn't yet picked up to the predicted levels.
Only one more day to go and that will be a complete year of cycle commutes done.

Roads were empty this morning which was fab.

First commute on the Marathon GT365 and they were pretty good, they didn't feel quite as sluggish as they had done when I went out before Christmas, so I will give them another few weeks trial.

I didn't notice but my commuter bag was sitting on the mudguard a little so it caused a slight rub, probably can be cured by slightly better packing and possibly nudging the SQR bracket up a little, might try at lunch.
