First lovely sunny morning since June!

Took the scenic route in celebration

A nice pleasant ride in this morning. Slightly chilly, but not enough to be uncomfortable in short sleeves. Sunny, but peaked cap enough to keep it out of eyes, and almost a dead calm.

Shoulder still pretty sore from last Friday, but not affecting the ride much - nowhere on the way in where I need to indicate left

Last night pleasantly warm, this morning starting to get sweaty - nice to see the sun!- This afternoon - will be riding at tempo looking for shade.

First time in a while that I've not had to bother with arm or knee warmers for the morning commute.

It was toasty this morning, and yes, I'll be pacing it this evening. Lots of leaf fall on the floop in places though, but make the most of the weather, it's looking rubbish for weekend.

A warm one this morning ....a disaster yesterday on the way home my 1k gp5000 trashed by road debris. At least the rim isn't damaged.

Family member gave me this bike because they don’t use it anymore so it was rude not to try it out on my usual commute. I think it’s a female specific frame but it’s got wheels and pedals so I’ll ride it 😆

Slight detour today: I had to pick up an order for the Cafe.

Not happy days, started with lower back pain and numbness between the legs getting worse through the week. Went to the work physio and after some tests found I've trapped my Pudendal nerve. Light duties and no cycling till the 30th, appointment at the physio and see what's what 😔

Another fantastic commute to and from Bolton along the Roe Green Loop Line. Still using the freebie bike which is surprisingly nice even though it was my sisters and is actually a female specific bike 😆 I might add slightly beefier tyres and call it a gravel bike 🤔Extended the ride home through Worsley and along the Bridgewater canal

Out of office on as we are off camping in the lakes tomorrow for a week. Will probably rain the whole time but I have the super galaxy packed so will hopefully get a few rides in. They will just be short lakeside ones most likely, hopefully nice and early in the mornings.

Not as damp as forecast. Was raining a little when I set off, so came the direct route, but turned out to be only a few spots - could have done the extra miles.

Rear tyre flat as a pancake on setting off this morning. Inevitably...

Oh, and it pissed it down the whole way in.

And a very slight but extremely annoying rubbing noise, I think from rear mudguard, which disappeared when my weight was removed so couldn't be solved.
