yes, I have surfaced...much apologies--- my alarm woke me early and I felt so tired, had been woken by a boyfriend coming in at 6am from a job and repeatedly by the kitten who seems to think a little purry body alongside scratching at my hair is acceptable all hours of the night, so had hardly any sleep at all.

Looks like I missed a good one - I especially like the photos of Clive on the Trice - the look of joy is fantastic!

Drove past a peleton of brave souls in the chilterns this morning, gutted I couldn't be out too (but quite appreciating my heated seat!)!

If there were 5 of them and they were wearing purple and white striped tops, then it was Westerley on a club ride. I'd intended to join them, but cried off (along with a couple of others) because I decided it was too chilly! Turned out to be a beautiful day, and a very photogenic one, as all the London pics above show.
