Yeah I'm with Dell on this one - ice, heavy snow and heavy wind are times when I stay off the bike so will keeping my eye on the weather too

Today's visit to the dentist has left me feeling like I've been punched in the mouth. That was when the localsh anishpectic wore ofsh. So with today's Christmas shopping cancelled we're going out early tomorrow to do it. Sorry folks. Wrap up warm!

Not exactly a Sunday London Ride - more of a Saturday Southend Ride but it was a great day (thank you TC1) and here are some pics. The last time I went to Southend was as Raptochic and I am happy to say there have been some improvements - not least because I didnt walk any of it including "that" hill (the one that Flying Dodo was nearly unable to shout "all up" until the Sunday!) I have been practicing hills including Swains Lane and Crystal Palace (College Road route 361 feet along to Anerley Hill and down to Anerley Station then back up to the top again 360ft!) so I am at least trying to increase speed! Anyway today was fab. Now, the pics including Crystal Palace. Big fun! M
