Sheffield hoops, but a decent shower and locker changing room. 1 per floor, so its only rarely busy. Would be 5* if one of the sheltered bike sheds was fitted close enough by to be sensible to use.

We have a bus shelter style bike shed which is ok although a good wind pushes rain through it. We have a single shower that is very good but no hooks or shelves to put stuff on while dressing/undressing. There is unfortunately no drying area so I have to spread my towel over my drawer cube and my cycling gear over my bag. I haven't had any complaints yet ^_^
I'd give it a 3 for the working shower and and somewhere to lock the bike up.

5 stars for me.

Just starting to commute to work from tomorrow, took all my work clothes over today, lucky enough to get two big lockers and provided with showers and towels.

We also have a decent drying room as well for the wet days.

My boss is well impressed that I am cycling to work and putting effort to get fit.

Don't fancy leaving my bike at the bike rack so may sneak it in the workshop behind my office.

4 stars at my work, all bikes are tagged and registered, you get stopped and checked by security, logged on a sheet, on the way in and out, underground garage loads of racks. Lots of people dont even bother to lock their bikes up. Showers, small lockers and no drying facilities though. My firm however wont sign up for any cycle to work scheme, corporate gym membership etc. Their attitude is, we pay you, what more do you expect.

I work for the NHS (kind of, HSCIC to be precise) and whilst it's currently a 3 (secure underground parking, showers available) there are plans to replace the existing crap bike racks with sheffield stands, install extra showers and a drying unit/lockers. Not sure what else we'd need!

They wouldn't have done all this without pressure from the cyclists though.

Ours is as secure as a chocolate tea pot is at holding hot tea. The thieves keep forcing the inside door and bolt cropping or angle grinding locks off. They cropped a d lock last week.

ours is security-pass activated on the outside door, but security did say to make sure the door shuts when you leave in case of anyone loitering behind bins etc.

our office over the road in angel square has underground bike parking, of which i'm slightly envious. that said, ours has a small workshop with, among things, a work stand and lots of donated tubes, repair kits, spanners and allen keys…
