There will also be a signed route around the Estate avoiding the the track across the grass, should conditions be wet.

Fear not, gavintc, the only section last year which was not suitable for 23mm tyres was that bit after the Hopetoun House stop, which now has a road alternative. I did it on 28's last year but there were plenty of road bikes, the only dodgy bit I recall was the grass/mud path through Hopetoun House and there's an alternative to that this year. I only seen one incident last year, some bloke manged to come off on the Roseburn path, I think due to slight rippling in the tarmac due to tree routes.gavintc said:I signed up for this thinking it was a trip on road. magnatom said:I haven't received mine either, so I don't think it is worth worrying yet. I e-mailed Cycle Scotland about 2 weeks ago asking them to confirm that I am registered. I've heard nothing back. I think they need a kick up the backside with regards to their communications etc.
