I emailed them twice two weeks ago - no response either. Perhaps the bloke who gets the email is off on his hols for two weeks and they forgot to get someone to cover for him ?

Cycling Scotland is not a large organisation and in hte weeks running up to the event they'll be snowed under. The bloke who gets the email is likely doing 17 other more important things.

PfS is very much like doing a poo in a donut. Just relax, it will all fall into place.

I've not heard either. Gavin you'll be fine on your 23s.

Magna - 11 - 11.30 at your house on Sat? Sorry again for messing you about yesterday.

No problem. One of those things. Sorry if I sounded a bit confused on the phone, my mind was on something else at the time!

11-11:30 should be fine. You can stop off, have a tea/coffee and meet poor Mrs Magnatom that has to put up with my cycling ramblings! She finds it amazing that 123 people have subscribed to my videos!

I'll PM you my address.

Still waiting.......

(Maybe I'm getting a celebrity pack:biggrin:)

You're getting the special entry number panel to pin on you - the one with the big target on it, and the wording "Strathycruise forummers are big jessies" and "Bloodbus is for inbreds" around it in big, garish letters. ;)

Good luck to all of you doing it. I would be there if I hadn't already entered the First Monster. Instead me & my boys did a ride for Leukaemia Research earlier in the year - I hope you all get some decent sponsorship (whatever your chosen charity).

Make sure you keep any "just giving" links obvious, and keep bouncing the thread.

All the best
Stig

Dayvo,

The bike is now in Glasgow. Tete and youngest Tete junior popped over this afternoon to drop it off. No matter how we hard tried we couldn't get rid of them and they stayed for lunch;)

As for the bike, well, lets just say, you'll have to work twice as hard as everyone else to get to Edinburgh. The brakes certainly work efficiently...

(Hopefully I'll have the brakes adjusted by the 14th!)

Very nice to meet you by the way Tete and Tete junior. The chocolates have already been consumed (I need a burp smiley...)

Oh good! Sounds like you succesfully completed your bike mech's course, then!

Thanks for your cooperation in enabling me to participate in the PfS, fellas!

I look forward to meeting you. <just need to find that Scottish-English phrase book!>

Scoosh, there was some debate about the pedals being on correctly or not (dare I say Tete might not have noticed the R and the L:biggrin:) but they are still on at the moment!

Dayvo, no I haven't been on the course yet, but I've dabbled in brakes. What could possibly go wrong....;);)
