Pre lunch walk completed.
Just looked at the weather forecast for early am tomorrow

Blurgh, just washed MrsF's car, it was minging after two weeks of commuting in the weather we've had. Must have blasted a few tonnes of rock salt from the wheel arches. My drive has gone all sandy coloured.

Rain has now started as forecast but tomorrow looks better with a light southerly wind.
At least I got more garden tidying done but it is a never ending job. Brambles and ivy are very invasive.
Had a trip up to the farm shop and got some goat meat chops, pork and black pudding sausages and a pack of pork and paprika sausages.
Left the bacon for another day. It is expensive but good and you do not get that white gung which supermarket ones have.
The goat will need to wait till tomorrow as I already have stuff out of the freezer for today.
Calmac also tell me they will not be carrying dangerous goods meantime so ferry is running to timetable.
Trouble is they say a boat which is not supposed to be here seems to be on the service so goodness knows which timetable is operating now.
I do not expect to be off island for another week or two so the office will hopefully be able to tell me when I book.
