Maybe when you signup if they ask for your favourite sweet or biscuit and told the costs in terms of them. Everyone would be able to understand just what the bills mean and what you're really paying for.

Get a bulb with an integral photocell. Comes on at dusk, off at dawn. Ideally wait until the present bulb fails or keep it as a spare.

Dull day and forecast to rain.
The local farm shop has got goat meat in their fridge for sale. I may have a trip up to see if any is left as the keen types will be there already.
In the off season there are no staff and it is self service and self operated card system for payment. You can use cash but the notes go into a locked box and there is a basket with small change where there may not be enough. Needs careful calculation to make sure you have nearly the correct amount and probably overpay.
The system must work as it has been going for some years now.
