Morning.
Sunny with cloud today.

I couldn't resist the sunny warm afternoon and dug my Orbit Italia out and went for a ride. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it rides. It might only be Reynolds 500 but it fits so well despite being a bit smaller than I normally ride. The gearing is just right with no big steps between gears so there is just a slight difference in cadence. I found that I was motoring along. It was a chance purchase. Nobody else seemed interested in it on FB for £25 so I arranged a visit to Dorchester with SWMBO and pick it up on the way. We have been back to Dorchester several times now and I'm liking the bike.

Good morning from warm and sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had while catching up with the news and listening to the radio.

A bit of food shopping needs to be done this morning as I've decided to head to Brands Hatch for a few hours on Sunday. Once that's been done, a few hours out in the countryside by bike will be had.

I think I've found the source of the slight smell of sick that was in my kitchen this morning. A forgotten bag of potatoes, well past their bin-by date, has been jettisoned.

Meanwhile, it's all a bit springlike outside. Leaf buds are opening en masse. A hopeful young goldfinch keeps visiting but doesn't stay. The magpie nest has been abandoned but a neighbour tells me that a pair have started nesting on the other side of the building so maybe it's the same pair.

Leeds United have another early start today. This is unsettling because the team doesn't seem to wake up until later in the afternoon.

Sunny and the temperatures are creeping up. Washing out, ebike to Sainsburys and a copy of Frank Gardners Invasion picked up for £6 (published price £9.99) then Nectar points used up on the full shop making it pro rata £4.29. Forgot the new Varia would need detacting by the Elemnt Bolt so that done at Sainsburys and almost immediately on the way back it had a Radar Error. Suppose I should look to see if theres an update but Garmin seem to have their head in the sand over there being an issue with them. Was pretty quite. Only two road traffic stops in each direction. Coffee to be drunk them more washing to put out and the ebike to be put on charge.
