Good morning from a chilly and still dark Suffolk. Coffee is being had and a small bowl of porridge has been had.
All that's left to be done is to pack a small lunch bag with the snacks for the day, make a flask of coffee and then I'm off for a day trackside at Silverstone for what I'm hoping should be a good day's racing.

It's not just me then!

I tried explaining that I would like a black coffee with just a small amount of milk added to it. He did not recognise this description as an Americano. A cappucino is very milky is it? and a Latte even more milky. He mentionned a flat white as well.

Fortunately the cakes had recognisable names, Berry Sponge being straight-forward, and yes, very tasty.

Ah! You need a very dark white or light black! I have to ask these questions when making coffee at home .
