Now here in Whithorn for the night following a detour to see St. Ninian's cave which was hardly worth it.

I'm staying in one of these unmanned places where I got texted the door code and room number. I folded the Brompton up and took it into my room as I couldn't see where else to leave it.

I better not accidentally drop a white towel on top of the chain which was what happened last time I took it into my room for the night...

Is the lopsided shop still there?

Will you be going to the polling station comrade?

On the way back from the pub...

I got an election leaflet and a door knock, where they were quite persistent to ask about my voting intentions. Clearly "undecided" wasn't cutting it with them so they're coming back to 'help me decide'. I've decided I'll be out when they do.

We were never too persistent and any "undecided" were marked as against as were some of the enthusiastic "yessers".

I cannot remember the last time I had a supermarket sandwich.

It might be five years since I had a mass-produced sandwich, at a hopsital.

Similar here but 11yrs ago, one question....................how do they make them so 'taste free' like chewing cardboard. Alright I do still smoke but if I make a butty at home then they're nice and I can taste the bread (Co-op wholemeal) and the filling but these 'premade/packaged' offerings nada/nothing, OK they may look good but 'where's the flavour gone'

There are a lot of old buildings here but I didn't notice anything particularly lobsided. I had been a Costcutters to buy some bits and pieces. There is at least one other shop that was closed at that time of the evening but I'll have a look at it before I leave town.

Another damp, cold miserable day by the looks of it.
My car seems to have vanished from it's usual parking place but there is a black Audi there instead. The local garage have obviously been and taken it away for attention. Very obliging they are in that respect as I cannot get to or from the garage easily myself. Living at the top of a steep hill has disadvantages.
I noticed the top of some masts in the bay but trees obscure most of my view. The assumption was that it was the full rigged ship we had earlier but it is in fact a private yacht which cost about £25 million apparently.

It was a long time ago but it had a very definite lean to one side. It seemed to be regarded as quite safe and was kept that way as an interesting feature. As recall it was on the main street near the harbour.
