Morning.
It is dark out but there is a clear sky as I can see a planet shining brightly.
I went out for a ride for a 12 mile ride . It was cold but I managed it . Blue sky appeared for my return journey which made it much more pleasant.

Another dump of snow overnight and still a few flurries.
Roads look pretty slushie and reported as impassible in some places but I do need to go back to the Calmac office sometime to try to sort out when I can get on a ferry as the rules and regulations are a bit confusing.
I think there are 3 spaces left for last minute bookings but if I do not get one of these there is still time to take the long route in daylight.
Trouble is the weather forecast keeps changing and what is forecast as reasonably calm can change within a few hours to gales all day.
I would not normally be too bothered but I do want to keep the hospital appointment I have for Thursday.
