Good morning from a very overcast, breezy and not warm corner of Suffolk. At least it's dry for the moment.

Another couple of unsatisfactory coffees have been had - I'm persevering with the not very good stuff from Lidl as I hate to throw anything out. As it's the start of an even numbered month, it's time to change the filters in my water jugs and then the week's food shopping needs to be done.

Edit as I forgot - Hope the new job goes well @Andy in Germany

Grey and soggy here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept really well, which helps. Still feeling rather fragile, face & neck subject to pins-and-needles as swelling continues to go down. Had enough energy to clean and steam some broccoli and prepare it to make some soup.

I think I shall make myself a :cuppa: shortly and trot back upstairs to the comfort of my bed and do some writing.

Fingers crossed @Andy in Germany, hope today goes well xxx

Nothing much achieved on this beautiful sunny day.
After watching the fish farmers heading out this morning I have just noticed then tearing back through the diorlinn.
Idiot or uncaring yotties sometimes anchor in the middle of the channel and must get an early wakening by sometimes two boats racing past while they are still abed.
The fish farm is sited in a bay where we found a wrongly charted wreck and dived on it a lot until word got out and gangs of wreckers from Birmingham tore it apart.
Done the town through multiple road workings to the PO to renew my ferry age concession card and then sat in the sun overlooking the marina. Only able to get the seat because it was wet but I come prepared for this with a poly bag.
I used to just chuck some things in a bag and set off in my travelling days but now it seems so much more complicated. Bags now packed and ready to go in the morning.

Miserable wet drizzly day spent in the office. Car used and both laptops took in. W10 one used until its battery saver came on then the W11 one which fine to mid afternoon when the two awkward applications froze. Rebooted and one came back as it had been, a clear advantage over W10 where everything recent would be lost. The other however had gone invisible. ALT+Tab indicated its presence just not on my screens. Back to the now recharged W10.
Lunchtime trek to M&S for gift card free bananas, Boots for a new pack of extra strong waterproof plasters and various store cupboard items from Asda.
