Today, I intend hoovering Hunstanton beach out of my car.

When the kids were small we hired a car and spent a week on the Isle Of Wight, when I cleaned the car before I took it back it was amazing how much sand had found its way into the vehicle and into various nooks and crannies.

That’s not the only nooks and and crannies you find sand after a day on the beach.

I've eaten my lunch al-fresco, just downwind of a distillery. The smell is beautiful. People that live here must be permanently as tipsy!

My grandfather used to work at Courages, by Tower Bridge, they had a tied cottage in Boss St. I can still remember that smell.

Just given the dog a bath, he was a bit lost until his collar went back on. Now happily sleeping laying in the sun light in the front room.

It's a third qualifying ride for this year's national hillclimb, so does have a purpose. But the Spindata prediction system thinks I'll be almost last!

My final planned qualifier is next Sunday up Cragg Vale.

My wife rode her new bike to work today.

Mundane news for some but it’s been twenty years since it last happened so I’m happy to have her riding again. It does mean her car is sitting… too bad… bwaa hah ha ha ha haaaaa……
