Ricciardo has broken his hand in that shunt at Dutch GP practice. He lost it, had a choice of spearing Piastri or the wall and chose the wall. Dr Marko - not that type of doctor though - is suggesting surgery may be on the cards.
Liam Lawsom to cover his driving duties this weekend, and possibly also the next race at Monza.
In other news Marko is also softening on the prospect of Perez remaiming in the A team until the end of 2024. Comments this week suggest the matter is for from decided, but at the very least has clearly been discussed in depth.
The wires are also humming with news that four way discussions are taking place between the Massa camp, FIA, F1 and Merdedes, and large numbers have been suggested as a means of making the whole thing go away. Apparently a resolution is not out of reach, which would affirm my guess that the exercise was all about filling his pockets rather than any genuine belief he would be retrospectively crowned the 2008 champion.
