Bit like a bridge but only a few feet above sea level - a load of rocks thrown into the sea and a strip of tarmac laid over the top

I'm kinda back, I've been helping with my bosse's 2nd company building houses in a factory so not been near a computer or a bike for about 3 weeks. Hoping to get back on the bike next week

Got so soaked on the commute this afternoon that I had to take shoes, socks and waterproofs off before I entered the flat

Someone should arrange an ayrshire mainland ride , an area I haven't touched And would like to know more of

I'll have a play around with rwgps. Not promising any kind of leadership, though.

The last time I led a ride, a certain gent did himself a mischief travelling between the end of the route and the car park...

It was a hell of a sportive, but as Mr. Obree has moved his sportive attention onto other, rather more Kilmarnock-y/Loudoun Valley routes, CC Ecosse might be the best way to get a group ride out of it.

Thoughts?
An obvious start point is Prestwick, making it directly accessible by train from Glasgow Central.
