@wicker man how can you do 10 islands with only two ferry crossings?

I think it a shame they didn'tinclude the 2 bridge crossings to Gt Bernera and scalpay

Day trip down to Arran. Circuit of the island then a trip to Brodick Highland Games for pipebands, Caber tossing. etc....

Someone should arrange an ayrshire mainland ride , an area I haven't touched And would like to know more of
I'll have a play around with rwgps. Not promising any kind of leadership, though.

The last time I led a ride, a certain gent did himself a mischief travelling between the end of the route and the car park...

It was a hell of a sportive, but as Mr. Obree has moved his sportive attention onto other, rather more Kilmarnock-y/Loudoun Valley routes, CC Ecosse might be the best way to get a group ride out of it.

Thoughts?
An obvious start point is Prestwick, making it directly accessible by train from Glasgow Central.
