It was a hell of a sportive, but as Mr. Obree has moved his sportive attention onto other, rather more Kilmarnock-y/Loudoun Valley routes, CC Ecosse might be the best way to get a group ride out of it.

An obvious start point is Prestwick, making it directly accessible by train from Glasgow Central.
