It pretty much is - that's why I don't like it and don't often go through to the Campsies.

I've seen me take 7 minutes to travel the first 3 miles into town and 25 to do the next 3. When I worked in Ayrshire, the number of PBs that got scuppered by lights on Kilmarnock Road
Ah, you'se are stubborn. We are going to the Campsies (well, the bottom of them) on Saturday.
From Rutherglen along the Clyde, around the Gorbals (Green is shut for the Pipers), along the river, cut on the path to Finnieston, Berkley Street, Kelvingrove park, the canal.

Having spent a good amount of time driving around Glasgow the last week, I have no idea how people cycle around it. Seems to be non stop traffic lights

I don't know if it was apocryphal, but in the 1980's it was reckoned that there were more traffic lights in Glasgow than in the rest of Scotland put together. As a Glaswegian, I've never had reason to question it...........

Been mostly around the byers road area, even driving took me lomger to get from transport museum to motorway,as it took motorway to Larbert. Couldn't imagine trying to get a quick ride in and it being chewed up by being so stop and start

You jump them!

Not really of course... I'm a good boy!
Bloody cyclists...

did i not read that glasgow is to get proper cycling infra?
One road (Victoria Road) is getting upgraded, at present, it's not even a particularly dodgy one, at least northbound. There is a bus gate that stops most traffic using it as a rat run.

Eglinton Road is vastly worse to traverse by bike. Still, baby steps, I guess.
