Cycled the work Brommie (our no-carbon environmentally friendly work vehicle 
) home from the office this evening ... great fun it was, too! With the front pannier weighing the front wheel down a bit it's pretty stable, and the three gears were just about OK for the uphill bits, it did spin out on the downhill parts very quickly though 
. We are going places on the train together tomorrow 
. Cycling it up Liberton Brae on the way back to the office is going to be "interesting" ...

, but the forecast has now turned it round a bit to a westerly side wind instead 
I can't quite believe it, but I managed to cycle all the way to work (including LB) 
. It helped that there was no wind of any significance, rather than the usual headwind.
