Nah that's where the Lannisters in Game of Thrones come fromYou're confusing it with the Castle Rock, which is a volcanic plug. Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano.
(I stand corrected!)

Dare I say... Breaking Bad?I must give that another go, I got bored after series 2... and I've run out of serials. Sons of A, Blacklist, Homeland - all up to date.
Must be an age thing
*Runs away*
TBH I think it was because the hills I considered most similar to Arthur's Seat (Loudoun Hill and Dumgoyne) are both volcanic plugs and so I made an assumptive leap...You're confusing it with the Castle Rock, which is a volcanic plug. Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano.

Sorry to derail the thread a bit, were I to suggest a new year CycleChat jaunt somewhere sunnier than Scotland would there be much enthusiasm (or indeed, any?)
I'm taking a hard look at having another crack at Tenerife in the first week or so of January and it would be awesome to have some company.
Requirements: Must be able to cycle up a volcano. Must not be able to cycle up a volcano faster than me
Don't prejudge Archer; it's big and cleverDone BB. Waiting for Better Call Saul. Might try Archer though. Whoa hang on - animated?! Maybe not!
Would love to give it a go but doubt I'd get the required permissions, permits, stamps, authorisation, release of funding, etc...
