My sportives for next year are looking like the 3 pistes, the bealach mor and I'll be signing up for the Ken laidlaw sportive as well

Xena was set (roughly speaking) 1,000BC to 23AD... But mostly BC which makes finding anything with a Christmas theme approximately impossible... :whistle :

Chez Scoosh, Christmas is not allowed to start until at least 10 December, as it is Scooshson's birthday on 3rd**, so we need to leave a suitable interval between birthday celebrations , cards on display etc and decorating for Christmas .

Birthday wise we have the 12th, 24th, 26th and 2 on the 29th in these 2 families, plus a wedding anniversary on the 27th... Cards get an A, B or C label accordingly!

First commute for over a week as I've had sciatica/back pain from last Tuesday... still wearing a deep-heat pad, but much better than it was. It was a last minute decision this morning as I wasn't sure how stiff I'd be first thing (paging @Fnaar) and in the rush I managed to forget my helmet (only noticed about half a mile from work!)

No sign of ice on the roads, which is good given my track record!

I think there will be ice in the next couple of days. A smidgeon of glittering on untreated roads last night, and there was a thin covering of ice on the permanent puddle outside my house this morning - that means I get to say it!

In my defence, I had two buffs on (one round my chin/neck and the other over my forehead/ears), so I think with all that on it felt like I had something on my head... until I stopped at the lights and felt the breeze!

I've not left the house without my two buffs on in a long time Praying the ice stays away but doesn't look like it
