Anyway, as I recall Young Edmund you didn't actually make it up said volcano at your previous attempt...

Getting VERY breezy from about Tuesday onwards

On my beginners lead ride today only one (retired gentleman, not a Belles ride 
) appeared. He fairly enjoyed his 20 miles, we got soaked, we dared riding a bit on the road, we had a nice cuppa at the local community cafe.
His previous effort was about 5 miles, he'll sleep well tonight!
