@Louch Are we still on for an Arran pootle next week? If so, which day suits you? I can do any except Wednesday or Thursday as I have to be fresh for an interview on Thursday and going by my last Arran trip I'll be gubbed on the following day.
Monday or Tuesday look to be the best options weather-wise.

Took my TCR back to the bike shop today said i wasn`t happy with the wheels, they said the will upgrade the wheels for me..That was the good news for our day..

We also had one of our Bullmastiffs at the vet as she has a lump above her eye and it`s really starting to annoy her, she was taken in first thing this morning, knocked out and she had a x-ray...Came back that she has a tumour in her head, they can`t do anything to help all they can do is give her pills to help the pain, she will end up losing the sight in her eye and there is only one small bit of bone stopping the tumour going in to her brain..so it`s not looking good for my girl seeing out the year:sad:

Sorry to hear that re the dog jamie, we had similar with a dog of ours before, eye complaint led to one eye out, then a few weeks later it was second eye and his balls in one fell swoop. Poor guy woke up blind and struggling to remember why he humped his teddy......but if you opened fridge door he found his way into kitchen and sat "looking" up.

Why waste a fiver, young lad, when I were young, we had 1 pound notes in Ecosseland ...

Went out for a short ride today after four or five weeks off with a dose of the seasonal lurgie and, notwithstanding a fairly stiff headwind on the outward leg, God it was good to get out again!! Scary how quickly you can lose form though, as the 20 odd miles was really quite enough today, although, having said that, I did find myself sniffing around the 3 Ferries ride in a couple of weeks:thumbsup::stop::thumbsup::stop:.............
