Won't be like, it will be a new bike! how you have chewed through tyres since August baffles me, thought you where on hybrid over winter? I'd be investing in a track pump to check your pressures correct

Tyres have done 1,209.99 miles since August, front one is fine, back one has a slight hole in it, other than that its fine also  Wanting new ones for puncture protection more than anything. I have a track pump and it gets used once a fortnight atleast.

Used the triban over January and most of February until the chain snapped

I reckon they will but the last back puncture caused a small hole in the tyre :cursing:
Pfft, a small hole, young people today don't even know they're born. Stick a folded up fiver inside the tyre over the hole, job done.

Once ended up with a 2 inch screw driven through the tyre, inner tube and partway through the rim while bombing down the East Kilbride to Blantyre road.
That was an exciting bit of braking!
I got into trouble because I refused to apologise to my boss for being late, instead opting to hold up the wheel with the screw firmly embedded.

Oh, sorry, we're not playing Puncture Fairy Top Trumps?

Ah ok, still doesn't feel like a lotta miles, I'm 2200 on the boardmans originals and both in good nick. Back got 200 miles less after a short lived affair with a gator skin, but given I weigh a ton it's not had much respite since back on.

What tyres you going for?

No idea tbh, cheap as possible with good rolling and puncture protection
