Augh!

Was getting ready for today's Arran jaunt when I found, at the bottom of my pannier, a banana from my last Arran trip xx(
(It was only 9 days ago but still )

I am home as of 5 mins ago.

Day started with me sleeping in by an hour, and then somehow only being ten mins late for Ed. A bout of taking directions frm a non driver had us touring The Scheme before escaping killie, then getting into ferry car park for 945. My smart thinking yesterday came into play as I already had our tickets, this delay also led to me having little choice in what to wear, as it turned into a grab what I can ( 4 gels taken, 2 returned) and running in my socks to board the ferry.

Sunshine and a gentle breeze followed us around, and with me not being my usual group slow down and wait for me self, we made good progress.

45 mins off the bike for soup, and a lesson in Colins Facebook creeping skills, then we were off on the home straight. Despite it being my first one go ascent of lochranza climb, I didn't beat my previous best time. Haven't checked specifics yet.

All plans to make the 1640 ferry fell apart when the strain of carrying a laptop ( don't ask) around the island bit Eds amble bum, and we had to stop so he could stretch. The " it's cool, 1740 instead " approach fell apart when we found next ferry was at 1920. After much piss taking, and guilt tripping into buying me the staple post Arran loop meal of scabby chips, and we killed two hours without killing one another, and we climbed aboard back to the main land.

So my question is.....when do we go back?
