not quite the med, but I managed a quick 20 mils aftr work with bib shorts and mitts on. have such a big cheesy smile on my face, glad im home alone and no one can see me!

All this talk of Spanish islands and Hors Categorie makes me hungry for mountainous pain. Tenerife anyone?

So long as there's someone whose seatstays I can attach bungee cords to, I suspect that's the only way I'm getting up that mountain in this lifetime...

Lucky you! I cycled from Largs to Greenock and back. Got soaked twice, and the headwind on the return leg was no fun. Top of Brisbane Glen with the rain being driven into my eyes and having to pedal downhill just to stay at 15mph.. I NEED to go to Majorca .

Is that the Old Largs/Loch Thom Road? If so, chapeau for doing it in both directions!

The very one. On the way back I went round the Greenock cut (off road) to Cornalees, then back onto the Largs road at the south end of Loch Thom. Just started a new job in Greenock, so hoping to commute that road - when it's not raining/blowing a gale. So about once a month then!
