I'm just up the road from Ardrossan, and in fact I'm looking over towards Arran as I type. Hope you've brought your wet weather gear . Bit blowy from the south too, so go clockwise . Enjoy the day, it's to dry up in the afternoon!
Just back from the usual 'tour' of parts of Renfrewshire and it is very very windy in the exposed sections above Greenock and Kilmacolm...Rain radar has very little over Arran as I write

wind stopped me in my tracks today, whilst two cars on approach and way around a roundabout tried their best to knock me off. tough 44 miles

Aye, I knew to go clockwise, shame about the girls who were also on the ferry who didn't know to do so... I felt bad when I bombed past them at 25mph while they were wobbling along at 4mph. Still, amazingly they managed to catch the ferry so major kudos to them!

It did clear up just as I got back to Brodick!

@Col5632 - PoP is early, starts at 12:00, so plenty of daylight hours left for Glentress afterwards
Bring your pals along to PoP! The more people the more powerful the message ...
Alternatively, you could all cycle across from the Kingdom and bring a massive peloton ... tell them there will be cake!

You should have taken them under your wing. Next time I'm not letting you go wingmanless
