This is 50 times 22 meter lengths we're talking about, not 100 meter lengths. Is 0.68 of a mile in around 30 minutes good,i don't know?
Not fast but better than 90% of the countries population could do I expect.

Thanks for the reminder, I'd forgotten about thatSomewhere, some dude is videoing a bloody bolt being removed from a floor.
And walking the hills around here. I used to put daughter in one of those framed rucksack/baby carriers and walk miles with her on my back, then when she got too big i'd put weights in it instead of her. Daft i know, but it did the job.Your stepping would come from years of climbing the ladders, glad that you are enjoying the gym.
Seek legal advice and get a refund. How much will they owe you for those 9 days? Some observations from the gym for you to mull over. I went in today to find parts of the floor pissed wet through. The assistant mopping the floor had gone round mopping what i presume are sweaty bits on the floor. I don't think he's been told yet that you have to wring mops out before mopping up. There wasn't a yellow warning sign usually put down to warn of slippery floors either. Then how about this! Yesterday i walked down the stairs to the reception to find a female assistant jumping off the lap/knee of a male member of staff as they saw me approaching. Canoodling while on duty indeed! It's a bit like a Carry On film in there. I think the place kind of runs itself.
Now for the serious bit. The pool won't be available again for 4 to 6 weeks, but not only that, the whole place shuts for 9 long days over the Christmas period! Yes we can use the sports centre in Accrington, but that's 3 miles away. So i've paid for the use of the gym and pool up till the middle of next January.but there's no pool for a month or so and the place is shut completely for a period which i've paid for! I can't say i'm happy about that!
BTW, you should have gone down on the floor and claimed compo. With regards to the canoodling, demand they compensate you by working right through the Christmas period for you or else you'll grass them up.Some observations from the gym for you to mull over.
