If you’re not aching, you’re not gaining much benefit, beyond being out and about. You’re wrong about muscles remaining strong too: don’t use them, they lose strength.
Hopefully there’s a bright coach at the gym. If you pin your ears back and listen to them, and take some coaching, you may get somewhere.
Your listening track record doesnt fill me with great hope.

( We’re waiting for the “Ive pulled my back out and it’s thei fault” thread. You should be getting an intro to all the machines in the gym, and a coach to give you an assessment and program to follow, so you don’t pull your back....)

Assessments are discrimination. Keep up!

Whatever. You live in a fantasy land, listen only to what you like hearing, take no advice and argue incessantly with common sense. Good luck with all that.
I live in a fantasy land?

How do you know?
Not wanting to go off topic too much, but i'm presuming that these 'flash cars' are either leased or on tick. For example a friend of mine visited me earlier today. He drives a 'Chelsea tractor'. I asked him 'how much'? He told me £295 a month on a lease scheme. About an hour ago i saw someone i've known for years. He had a 2017 Jaguar 4x4. He didn't let on how much it was,but i'm presuming with him being a coal man(deliverer) all his working life and still doing it now he's into his mid 60's and he also has a yard where you can but coal, stoves etc, then he's not short of a bob or two,so he's bought it.

I worked all the machines in the gym earlier. I think i prefer the aerobic type machines to the weights ones. I'd say the hardest is the step climbing one and the easiest the rowing machine(s). Even at full resistance the rowers seem quite easy. I think i'll go back later as there's an adult swim from 8pm to 9pm. The pool is 22 meters, while the pool in the bigger centre in the borough is 25 meters,so i presume that's a full size 'Olympic pool'.
