Aldi offers from next Thurs 6th of May. Anyone know what the computer is like. Seems a bargain for £4.99.
I have one on my road bike & its great, nice big easy to read display. Only down side, a replacement battery cost me £3.50 last year

I've got one of those and if you shop around you can get them for about £35 - beware though that the 2nd bike kit is a rip off, cheapest I've seen is about £26 for a sensor and a few bits of plastic!

For my new bike I just got a Sigma 1606L wired computer which is about £16 on amazon at the moment - roughly half price.

I'll use this one for my road bike only:smile: I've already got one on my other bike so wont have to worry about the 2nd bike kit;)

Do you know by chance if those Camelback prices are available to walk into a store and purchase or if they are "web only" and need to be ordered online?.

**EDIT** Scratch that - You can reserve and collect from the nearest store. Nice. ;)

The Slipstream looks very good for the money. Just reserved one, thanks for the "heads up", Redbike!! xx(

SIS 800ml Bottles

Hi There,

Not much I know but the larger Tesco Extra Stores seem to stock the SIS 800ml water bottles for £3.50 not a band price - LBS £4.50 and some on-line retailers have been charging £4.99.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Probably only of interest to anyone in South Birmingham, but Aldi in Selly Oak is selling off the Oregon Scientific ATC2K action camera for £20. There were still two left when I was in just now. Might be useful for any budding Magnatoms?

Tried this tactic with PC World when I wanted a scanner. The manager of my local PCWorld was a smart ar$se git who refused to match their own web price even though his store had the scanner in stock which we sere standing next to and I had cash burning a hole in my pocket. What a w4nker! Anyway I had the last laugh as inspected the scanner in store, went home and visited PCWorld website. Yep scanner was still there at a saving of £43 compared to the price in their stores. I then did a search for discount codes. Inputted one and gained another 10% off. So I got the scanner with a total discount of £86 plus free delivery!! Bargain. Thanks PCWorld and to the idiot of a manager at PCWorld who lost his company £43. Happy days.
