Hi to you all out there,I know it was the starter post on this subject but you really do need to look in(on a regular basis) at Aldi.I have recently bought a very nice Crane wind resistant/water resistant jacket(marketed as a running jacket,Crane Run)(looks just like my mates silly priced cycle jacket)with adjuster cord in the base hem.£9.99p.Late Spring/Pre-Autumn Bargains on a pension are a must,they are the alternative lubricant to older veterans continued cycling.Happy & Safe Riding to You All.

Which is more a risk with a alloy seatpost, alloy work hardens with time and becomes brittle...

I bought a pair of these last year but they are too slippery IMO they are only suitable for Non STI Bikes. I had to stick some alcantara on the finger areas so that I can use them on my Road Bike. Unless of course they have changed the design!

I use them with STIs on my road bike with no problem I'm normally on the hoods, but maybe they could be a bit slippy on the levers if you are riding on the drops?

Decathlon have Mavic Aksium wheelset for £129.99 (in Black) as opposed to the more normal £160+ elsewhere. I think they only do the Shimano version, but still, a good deal cheaper than most.

It's excellent for the price. You can stem mount it and it does everything but wash the dishes. The instructions are a little confusing at first but there is lots of help online if you get stuck.
