+1 for Shimano boots. I found the dial on Lake ones to fail quickly and Northwave's too narrow.

Just to break the Shimano love, I have a pair of the previous version of teh carnac / planet x winter boots and they are excellent. go up 1 size from normal shoes / trainers though.

Yes - go up one size in PX winter boots. There is a lining inside the boot that takes up a bit of space.
Great boots though. Much better than wrangling with overshoes.

I've got the both old and new versions of the PX boots and have found the newer ones to be quite a bit smaller than the older 'Das Boot' version. I'm a wide-ish size 46 and the old Das Boot in a size 47 had quite a bit of room in the toe box, I could wear them with two pairs of socks if needed. However the new version in a 47 is a rather 'snug' fit, TBH they're a bit of a struggle to get on (they haven't got a pull loop at the ankle which doesn't help), but that said once on they don't move around as much as the older version and are still comfortable after a 4 or 5 hour ride. They don't rub the crank arms either which is nice bonus!

I have both those issues with Das Boot - not easy to get the "laces" up tight enough, and crank rub.

I've recently decided to do more shopping by bike - this has been prompted by local road closures which have turned any journey by car into a real hassle. Recent trips have resulted in various ways of carrying home the produce, resulting in boxes of coffee pod inside the front of my Winter top yesterday - something has to give and it will undoubtedly be the zips! Anyway, I've seen a pair of panniers on Temu for less than £6. Our Daughter has used Temu many times, and the results have been good with only a couple of 'fails'. The panniers are described as 'Oxford Cloth', whatever that is, but at that price I may well give it a punt. The RRP is £1222, so I'm expecting a super-bargain
Anyone else here with experience of bike accessories from Temu? Some of the mechanical parts (I wouldn't trust them) have amusing descriptions!

The panniers arrived in a couple of days, from Poole, Dorset (I guess that explains Temu 'Local') - I can only describe them as an absolute bargain at £5.44 + £2 delivery. Good quality and appear to be well-designed to keep out rain, and complete with reflective badging and triangles. I wouldn't pay the RRP or £1222 though .
