passed 3 petrol stations today - all had queues but about 2-3 cars per line of pumps - rather than queuing out onto the roads like yesterday

On our Devon to London trip today there seemed to be some shortages of diesel but a fair amount of E10 available. The queues at petrol stations seemed longer the closer we got to The Smoke.

Out riding through Wariwck today I came across a couple of traffic jams caused bu people queuing for fuel. Filtered by them and then had traffic free roads for a while

The thing is that most, not all, of these people queuing up for fuel is that they don`t need it but think they should fill their cars in the hope they will be able to get through the current shortages.
However, a lot of these so called shortages have been made by these very people and, of course, the political newspapers and news outlets who seem to be making a great issue out of it.
Yes, we have a shortage of HGV drivers and yes it will cause problems. But we are hardly at the end of the World!
I`d be more concerned if there was a shortage of tea... or dare I say it.... toilet roll!
Remember that? People going mental because they wouldn`t be able to wipe their silly asses! I`m sure there are still people with spare bedrooms full of the stuff!
