There was plenty of piles of burning cows around here . An awful time for beef and dairy with many farms closing up .

My point was that the WG used a photo that painted a false picture of Kendal being very quiet during the F&M outbreak and that the media reported that palls of smoke were hanging over the whole of the county. Both of which were untrue. The same as the current petrol 'crisis' being endemic to the whole of the UK as portrayed by the press which it clearly isn't.

Most fuel gauges have a tiny arrow pointing to the side of the car where the filler is.

siansburys had a massive queue when i took mini ck 2 to swimming lessons , when we came out half an hour later it was shut , luckily morrisons had petrol, not panic buying as we fill up once a month and it was down to one bar on the gauge

I ventured out into the centre of my fairly small town this morning and it's effectively gridlocked since three of the four major roads each have a petrol station on them, and people are queuing on the road itself to get in. It is something of a car obsessed bell end town mind you, being within half an hour of London it's wall to wall Range Rover Sports, BMW X5s and Porsche Cayennes.
