Spirit v laws of the game 1(Duckett) - 1(Bairstow og).
It has to be a no, England won't be able to
That catch from Starc in my opinion wasn't held.He had the ball in his hand maybe two seconds at the most and then he fell using the ball as a leverage.I don't think that was bad sportsmanship unlike Bairstows.Spirit v laws of the game 1(Duckett) - 1(Bairstow og).
Oooer. What's happening?
Just got in from toiling in the garden expecting it to be all over ... or at least heading to a depressingly inevitable conclusion.
70 needed, 4 wickets remaining
bollocks. Stokes gone. 3 wickets remaining.
Edit 69 needed with 2 remaining. I should have stayed in the garden
Edit 69 needed with 1 remaining. What have I done?
It has to be a no, England won't be able to. It's more a matter of losing with a bit of dignity.
Raging about the Bairstow dismissal (despite it being perfectly legal), but the pantomime Broad put on and the sheer dismissive power of Stokes was something to behold.
Can we came back from this? Unlikely. But this series has been entertaining stuff so far, and a lot closer than people seem to think. Our top order failures are well known. Australia have been dominant in their first innings, but losing to the best Test team in the world by two wickets and 43 runs is hardly a disgrace.

I think that's the right thing to do ... but Warner+Khawaja are massive snowflakes to complain about a bit of barracking from some pensioners in blazers, whilst giving it "This is Test Cricket, mate, we're here to win, not to make friends..... etc "
