That's what I was thinking about .

I don't think this little spat is in the same class though. Unlike the underarm incident, they won't be talking about it for decades to come.
Bodyline and the Chappells' underarm are out in a class of their own.
Then in the next league is the Aussies sandpaper and Hansie Cronje's match fixing.
I think this one is maybe on a par with Mike Atherton's dirt-in-the-pocket incident. Something to get a bit riled about and then forget.
Well, no. It's a weird term that generally seems to have cropped up to appease old duffers who think they had it better in their day or something.
Anyway, having reflected on the Bairstow dismissal, aye he was a bit daft, but it's something he's tried before too so, I dunno. It's like that stumping thing you can do when the non striker is walking down.
Legal, but a total dick move.
Decent insight into the way England are approaching things:

As for Anderson, I've been saying for a while that I think he's done. But then he has a habit of picking up wickets/putting in the occasional brilliant performance that sees him getting selected.
It's a shame England can't use a bit of common sense at times.
I Always thought the great Freddie Trueman was old for a fast bowler when he retired aged 37 and Jimmy is nearly 41.I've been thinking the same about Anderson, he can't go on forever he's got to stop at some point and I think he's past that point.
