20 miles approx to edge of Ikley moor above addingham following the first? Leg of the millennium way. Steady away in 3hr45. Wife had made flapjack which was sponsored by the local dentist so had to walk whilst I ate it. Cold and fresh had to put my waterproof on to run the ridge back to 12 apostles stones.
Last big run before Haworth hobble in 2 weeks time.

Up early. Beaten the weather; (Speed-walked) and expended some calories. Feeling infinitely better about myself having now lost approx 2.5 stone since middle to late Dec….

Good morning,
A tad chilly out, just getting ready to head out to parkrun. We're visiting Nottingham so decided to do some parkrun tourism.

Ended up walking/ jogging the almost 5k to the start of Colwick parkrun. I'm following one of the 10k plans from Garmin, made the parkrun more varied as I was supposed to be running 4 x 5 minutes at race pace with a 3 minute jog between efforts.
It's a great course around a couple of lakes, well marshalled and lovely friendly people.

My daughter took part in the final round of the Gwent League XC today at Pontypool. The hilliest event of the season but a good challenge and as one of the team mentioned it was 'character building'.

I’ve got a stinker of a cold at the moment too. Frustrating when the weather is decent but not even feeling up to a walk. Hoping another couple of days I will be over the worst and at least get back out walking.

That's impressive, I wouldn't fancy a half marathon up and down those hills.
