I have a Bosch Aquatak Pressure Washer and no matter what setting I turn the nozzle to I only get a fine spray, can't get the wider spray to work which when doing a full driveway etc is pretty essential.

Anyone had similar issues and sorted?

Return it to the store?
Have you switched the electric on and the unit on as well?

It is at this point I should add that it used to perform perfectly. The lack of wide spray is a recent thing.

New nozzle required, I guess, assuming it's still at full pressure. I had a whirly - round one on my Nilfisk which one day (user abuse may have featured) simply ceased to whirl any more.

Sorted now, the nozzle was seized in the lance so basically wasn't turning to change spray type. I have got the nozzle out (use of hammer on the release button needed) will soak it overnight and then see what is what.

Worst case scenario will be new lance and or nozzle, best case a good clean and some lubricant sorts it.

One of the problems with jet washers I suppose is that they are left out over winter in cold sheds / garages with water still in the pipework etc. And despite the manufacturer's recommendations is anybody going to want a pressure washer in the house to keep warm over winter!!

Fixed.

After a good strip down, clean and some grease I reattached the nozzle to the lance.

Stuck fast in one position, would not turn to change jet type.

So last resort, two towels to aid purchase, gripping the lance in one hand and the nozzle in the other and counter twisting......my it's stiff...keep trying....click... whatever was obstructing the turning mechanism must have snapped back into place and the nozzle now turns as it should. A great deal of force was needed, a bit like opening one of the curry sauce jars Mrs. C insists on buying.
