Reminds me of an episode of Coronation Street many years ago. Ace mechanic Kevin was lying under the front of an Alfa GTV6. He said "I'll be with you when I have fitted this clutch"
Presumably the scriptwriter didn't know the clutch was on the rear on one of those vehicles!

Automatics still have clutches, they just aren't operated manually by the driver.

Each gear has a clutch to engage it too, known (wrongly) as 'brake bands' they are still a clutch
Maybe it was a custom four wheel drive Mini
