Bob, if you're going to be resting in 4 weeks, I find short IHT works outs. 1min 150-175%ftp upto 5mins 105-110% ftp are the best bangfor buck. rest periods of 1min for super short interval to 5mins for 5 min intervals. Its better to do 5-6 intervals than 10 at a lower threshold. Do a FTP on TR and pick from a whole mass of intervals

TR Foerster intervals, Morgan, Ainslie(lots of versions) and Ansel Adams(lots)

Ta Andy.
My weight continues to slowly fall and I am nearer 72 kilos so dont want the power to fall off too.

I suspect you dont carry a great deal of excess on you Bob, so you're going to be careful and watch when power and endurance begins to drop, then you're too light. I on the other hand are off for lipo

I think Andy is the go to person when it comes to training, my current ftp is 234 when on trainerroad if I'm able to i increase intensity but only if I can complete the session.

Doing Richmond on Thursday will be a good test to see how far I've come in about 3 weeks.

My youngest delighted in taking the P out of my upper body, err, flesh, last night comparing it to my toned legs. He said he couldnt understand the difference and put it down to me being an OLD MAN!

Apologies for hijacking the thread with Bolt related issues...

Any of you guys had rides not load to strava? I did 20 miles earlier, saved it, then did another 12 miles right after. The 12 miles is on the bolt but not uploading to strava. Anyone else had this?

Tommy I read somewhere the Wahoo can sometimes not sync immediately if not returned to home network to finish ride. Can you check if the ride is still held on the device and manually upload?

Hi Andy

I've just tried that a few minutes ago. I discovered a google group for the element which seems useful. It's still not uploaded to strava but it is on the device so I'm optimistic! Cheers bud

Nope but read that Bluetooth on might sometimes slow uploads
