Glad it wasn't just me in pain on that climb! i reckon about 200 riders passed me. As i neared the top and started to struggle I was expecting to see you sail past; looks like you was only about 20 metres behind.

I kept kidding myself that if you caught me up I would jump on your wheel to the top. in reality though I was on my limit and had you caught me I wouldn't have been able to respond.

We were in a nice big group of 60-80 riders when we hit Keith Hill, then 65 kg was suddenly much better than 84 kg. I lost about 1m40s on the climb to Lee and around 70 spots.

That stage affirmed my dislike of flat and love of climbing. I went from around 250 at the start to over 800 at the start of the hill and then made 160+ places up on the climb. Chuffed with the time

Just checked out Strava and noticed that I set a PB on Keith Hill, knocking 2 minutes off my previous best. No wonder it hurt!!!

Edit: but i'm still 5 minutes slower than Lee

Weight lose going Ok for me, back to pre Christmas weight. You just wait until the fat drops off
