But you still made a decent saving, didn't you?

I stopped doing international prize competitions when I read that I might have to pay import duty and VAT on any winnings.

Those feet that Colin order with Tennis balls- I've found a 3D printer file. I might get some orange filament and have a go
I was wondering how much the plastic filament costs?

PS I just searched - around £15/kg. How much would be needed for, say, those 4 'rocker feet'?

I don't know for sure, depends on amount of weave density. I would try a low percentage like 10% to test the design on a cheaper filament, then use the colour to go for it. It's more bit of fun to try out my 3d printer

Tim, are these the dual Assima SPD power meter pedals?

I saw these were receiving excellent reviews. I checked them out. Less than £500 for dual power meter. I think that's a good price
Yep, they’re the Duo Shi, so I need to cannibalise some Shimano pedals to make them up. Asking price on eBay is generally around £15 including postage (and it doesn’t matter if the donor pedals’ bearings are knackered), so it’ll be about £425 all-in.

I paid £600 in the summer, but bought from a UK source. I think Tim bought the spindles to fit to his own pedals though.

This is what Tim bought - Duo Shi https://www.360cycling.co.uk/product-page/favero-assioma-duo-shi-power-meter-pedals

I bought the new Pro MX2 https://www.360cycling.co.uk/product-page/assioma-pro-mx

I like the new body shape on these Lama is reviewing. Ive always used MTB SPD pedals, so would only consider power meter designs for SPD-M I know in the early days Garmin and others could be butchered to make SPD work with them. But these might even convince me to look again

That's what I have. I really like them. Bit spendy, but nice things cost.

I have done about 3500km on a pair of the dual-sided ones since May. Mostly off-road but also some road rides. They lost connectivity with my Garmin 530 on one ride but I put that down to trying to transmit feeble radio signals through 3" of mud! Other than that they have been excellent. I really ought to get round to testing them against my Kickr but having just done a similar comparison with new scales against my 'trusty' bathroom scales I probably don't want to know the answer .
