Ok
tried the phone to run zwift but the app kept "not responding " so i gave up with that and now i have tried splitting the ride so no more than half an hour at a time in an attempt to keep riding , tbh its about right as i am going pretty hard to keep up with the pacer group so a few mins every half hour is no worse than using the cafe break button .

its an issue with the chipset within the pc and a known issue with zwift atm , my old laptop has the same brand of chipset so thats a no go .Only on zwift for about 4 months a year at most so i cant justify a newer machine as this one is still under warranty

Is there anything you could do like updating the bios. My NUC PC was unstable, locking up, crashing. A revised bios restored stability, never had a problem

Have you checked for any updates on drivers from manufacturer?

I have done about 3500km on a pair of the dual-sided ones since May. Mostly off-road but also some road rides. They lost connectivity with my Garmin 530 on one ride but I put that down to trying to transmit feeble radio signals through 3" of mud! Other than that they have been excellent. I really ought to get round to testing them against my Kickr but having just done a similar comparison with new scales against my 'trusty' bathroom scales I probably don't want to know the answer .

Mine are pretty close - certainly close enough for my needs

Looks good!

Mine were due to be delivered in over a week's time, delayed by Xmas/NY, but eBay sent me a message this afternoon telling me that the parcel is already at the collection point waiting for me. I will go and pick it up tomorrow.

I won't be able to test the feet until my trainer arrives but I am interested to see what they look like. I will order the 8 tennis balls later this evening.

I have just realised that the Quarq Riken power meter cranks on the temporary trainer bike are Ant+ only whereas the Apple TV 4k box is Bluetooth only.

To save me scouring the internet for suggestions: Q: Do any of you know of an Android app which could be used to bridge between the two? I can display the power on my Elemnt Bolt v2 but it would be better to get the power data into TPV. Can the Bolt act as a bridge?

There is a 4iiii HRM that can act as an ANT+ to BT bridge.

Thanks, but unfortunately, I got a different type of HRM for Christmas!

If there were a free or very cheap Android app, that would be great. Forget that - how would the Android device receive the Ant+ signal in the first place?!

Use the Zwift companion app on your phone or tablet to connect to your PM this will connect to Zwift on your apple box I think.
