Stage 4 Beach Party Turf n Surf

Ranking predicted 7th, came 7th.

First for the heavyweights 'Clydesdale'.

Two four minute climbs makes it a tough to finish with the leaders.

Held on up the first climb, blown away on the second hill, but didn't blow up and kept the pressure on a small group in front.

Not enough descent to catch before finish line.

Since everyone is boasting about their race performance, I will too ;):becool:

I was going away for the weekend last Friday, so had to do a sub-optimal FRR race slot - 10:30 start. I knew that the group will be significantly smaller than the 18:00, so really had to smash the segments.

Ended up winning the race in my category, and as for FTS (in order of appearance):
- Pave Reverse, 13.2W/kg for 20s - first place across all races
- Aqueduct Reverse, 9.6W/kg for 32s - first place across all races
- Petit KOM, 4.6W/kg for 323s - second place across all races
- Marina Reverse, 13.0W/kg for 12s - second place across all races

292 points out of 300 available, hehe. Feeling really good lately.

Women's tour finishing up col de trebiac today . I rode it this morning let's see how I compare to women's time

Ouch. That's the one I've been using to pump up my XP. I think 13:25 is my best but I expect they will take a good few minutes off that

Excellent. That's fantastic Peter (you sandbagger ). There's nothing wrong with telling people what you've done. None of this false modesty British bollocks.
I noticed yesterday that I'm back in C for CE now, but the B race looked more interesting. I actually wish I'd done the A now. I hadn't realised it was all cats together.

Anyone considering a late Autumn / Early winter bike getaway?

I still haven't even been anywhere in the summer yet as the weather has been so crap. (Yorkshire was without a bike).
Haven't added any new "100 climbs" yet.
(But made good use of my Zwift subs and also did my first supersprint duathlon on Friday)

I shall hope to rectify that in August if the weather improves a bit
